A recycled vintage Mountain Dew bottle is melted flat in a kiln. The painted label is original to the bottle and melts into the flattened glass. No decals used. I tend to favor functional art: my work ranges from bowls to platters to vases and clocks.
I also do a lot of reclaiming of glass by making melted bottles clocks, spoon rests, cheese boards and lamps.
