I love going to Orcas Island and always watch for a sighting of whales. This one is hand carved on basswood. Because the water is clear I wanted to carve water lines to make the water's motion visible, resulting in a whale swimming in a giant spaghetti ocean.This is a hand pulled limited edition .woodcut printed on a Mulberry based paper.
