"The Shape Shifter Chronicles" series (published by Snowy Wings Publishing) is about a woman named Isis who stumbles on an ancient murder mystery when photographing a murder scene and the next day the body disappears from her pictures. Unable to let it go, Isis starts investigating and in the course of the investigation, she discovers she's not human like she always thought. She's part shape shifter and part guardian (a race of ancient beings similar to gods from various pantheons).
With 3 other women, Isis goes on an adventure to solve the ancient mystery of disappearing bodies. The series is about 4 badass queer women saving the world, going on adventures, and getting things done.
