Handmade Hearts earrings, 3 styles

Paperclay is a wonderful material for making earring components. Moldable by hand, it dries to become nearly weightless. It takes colorful wonderfully. I most enjoy using colored pencils or alcohol inks. the heart shape rolls quite naturally in my hands into this curvy and flattering shape. I make a point of assembling the earrings so that the asymmetrical hearts mirror each other, rather than both hanging in the same direction.Handmade flower bead caps are equally lightweight and bring a sense of lift to the composition. Each pair of earrings is adorned with crystals and sequins to add subtle lights.
