Five Daisies In A Vase mixed media on canvas ONLINE SHOW MEET THE ARTIST: Lynne Mizera Lynne Mizera is a self-taught, mixed media artist living in Creston, British Columbia in Canada. Her paintings are full of joyful color and simple shapes and lots of texture. Influenced at an early age by Canadian artists like Emily Carr and Tom Thompson, rather than painting a perfect replica of an image she continually strives to capture the essence of what she sees by conveying through paint and texture the emotion behind the image. Lynne lives with her husband on their one-acre property in the Kootenay mountains and spends her days in the wonderful art studio he created for her working full-time on her art.
