Hillel Smith is a wandering and wondering visual artist originally from Los Angeles, now based in Washington, DC. He utilizes contemporary media, including spray paint and digital software, to create new manifestations of traditional Jewish forms. His murals grace walls around the United States, Europe, and Israel, redefining Jewish spaces, and he is the founder of the Jewish Street Art Festival. His work has been exhibited widely and he is proud that his projects have found their way into classrooms and homes worldwide.
