Every Chanukah, Jews from all over the world play the Dreidel game. The Dreidel is a 4-sided spinning top which is used in a gambling game. Each side of the dreidel bears a letter of the Hebrew alphabet: נ‎ (nun), ג‎ (gimel), ה‎ (hei), ש‎ (shin). If it stops spinning with the נ‎ (nun) showing, nothing happens. If with the ג‎ (gimel) the player gets everything in the pot. If with the ה‎ (hei) the player gets half of the pieces in the pot. If there are an odd number of pieces in the pot, the player takes half the pot rounded up to the nearest whole number.
