Dock In The Mist oil on wood panel ONLINE SHOW MEET THE ARTIST: Karin McLean I am a self-taught artist who began painting eleven years ago, after being inspired by what I noticed during my daily dog walks. Initially working in acrylic, I’ve moved into watercolours, oil and mixed media pieces. While my work is primarily architectural, it also examines the notion of belonging, what makes us feel “home”. I see beauty in the everyday world around me. My art can be found in collections throughout Canada, and most recently was added to the permanent collection of Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto.
