Desert Burros acrylic on canvas MEET THE ARTIST: Lynn Montgomery I paint in acrylics and in watercolours. Since I retired eleven years ago from teaching elementary school music, I have been delving more into painting. I find it enjoyable and beneficial to attend a painting group run by my friend Jill Rody, doing some plein air as well as whatever I have going. My mother was an artist and back in the day worked hard to get her stuff out there, and she taught me a lot as well. Getting lost in my art gives me a sense of purpose as well as much enjoyment.
