When The Grand 1894 Opera House prepared for its Centennial in 1994, it was important to commemorate the occasion with a special visual impression. Pam Heidt, an artist of renown and a favorite of Galveston had created many watercolors of the city’s historic homes. She was commissioned to create a watercolor of The Grand, utilizing its many architectural features. The result was an amazing collection of details, both inside and out that will encourage you to find each of them on your next visit to the theatre. Two sizes of the prints are available and you may choose a signed copy of the mini-print for an additional cost.
