Black Cherry Blossom Silk Kimono Tie

This beautifully graceful tie is handcrafted from a vintage silk Japanese kimono. On a black silk background is traditional Japanese water garden scenery (chayatsuji) in grey blue. Along the river are four seasons of flora: cherry blossoms, peonies, maples and pines. Spectacular! 100% Silk Shell 100% Wool Interlining Approximately 59” x 3” wide at tip. Handmade by me in Pacific Grove, CA. Our neckties are cut by hand on the bias from vintage Japanese kimono.  They are slip stitched by hand with silk thread and finished with a bar tack and tie keeper.  All ties are lined with either a single layer of 100% wool interlining (W14/13-33TH AC Ter Kuile - made in Netherlands) or, for finer silks, a layer of cotton interlining AND a layer of wool interlining.
