Description
This gorgeous bowl was handbuilt starting with a slab of clay draped over a ring. I added a foot ring with holes for a hanging wire and coated the whole inside with black and carved back through to the white clay, leaving the pretty flowers & leaves. This is called sgraffito. Beautiful ruby red glaze was added to the back & rim with a clear over the design.
