Artist Statement: I am an abstract artist located in the beautiful city of London, ON. My work has always been heavily influenced by my experience in graphic design and photography. You can see it in my use of shape, colour and composition. I paint in several styles; however, expressing myself through abstraction is my first love. It allows an unrestricted approach, relinquishing control to the tools so emotion and energy can lead the way intuitively. My works are described as explorations of expressive colour and texture through movement in brush stroke. She shares her expressions as a reflection of her life with the intention of bringing joy infused works to the viewer.
Love my style of painting but don't see one here that works? Consider a commissioned piece!

For me, abstract artwork allows an unrestricted approach, relinquishing control to my tools so emotion and energy can lead the way intuitively. My paintings are emotionally infused with gestural markings and texture. They are explorations of colour, defined line and shape all the while creating harmony and balance amongst the compositions chaotic character.
