This TIN STAR is an antique 75-year-old metal Christmas light reflector! These were placed behind the lights to add more "sparkle," as they were shiny bright when new. After being used and put away for so many years, there my be a few bent tips or blemishes. Plus, many have a wonderful patina from age. How fun to have something that was on another family's tree in times past. Up-cycling at it's best! At the center are embossed metallic foil papers. They are called Dresden Trims and are made on 150-year-old machines in Germany. The Victorians handmade all of their ornaments using these same foils. This ornament will make a beautiful addition to your Christmas tree and become part of your family’s special Holiday Tradition.
