Description
This pot was wheel thrown and hand painted. It stands just over 6” tall. Each pot starts as a lump of clay. it is then made on a pottery wheel, allowed to dry and then hand painted with underglaze. The handpainting process takes anywhere from 4-12 hours, depending on details and size. It is then fired to about 1800 degrees, glazed with a clear topcoat and then fired again.
