Leaf or feather shaped earrings in shades of blue, green & purple, silver accents. Cut from soft black recycled leather & hand painted! So lightweight and fun to wear! Sterling silver ear wires.
Shown here is one pair from my newest Leather Statement Earring collection. Every pair one-of-a-kind.
This particular pair features a mermaid tail/leaf/feather shape that I have cut out of of solid black recycled leather and then hand painted in gorgeous shades of blues, greens and purples with a touch of silver. This pretty color combination is somewhat iridescent and been applied with special paint formulated for leather to maintain softness and prevent cracking, insuring a long lasting design.
A brushed silver-plated geometric domed circle shape adds sparkle and has been treated to be tarnish resistant. Ear wires in sterling silver have an attractive coiled wire and ball accent detail.
These earrings are entirely made by hand, by me, in my studio. The earrings measure 3 1/8"from top to bottom and are very lightweight and easy to wear.
This is a one-of-a-kind pair. You will love wearing them…or …giving them as a gift…and won't ever see them on anyone else!

It is just me working in my studio, but my commitment is to make your order and ship it within 1 business day (Monday - Friday) of receiving the order.
I ship from Florida, and time in transit will vary depending upon where in the US you are located. I ship USPS with tracking info, which gets to most places within 3 - 5 business days. If you would like them faster I can ship them via USPS Priority Mail. Please choose that option at check-out.

Refund & return policy
I want you to be happy with your purchase. Each piece is handmade by me in my home studio in Sarasota, Florida. I am not able to offer refunds on custom orders or anything made to your specifications. I will, however, exchange items bought from my shop for other in stock items.
If you need to exchange your purchase, please just contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery. For Holiday purchases made between November 1st and December 20th, please contact me by January 10th and ship items back by January 15th. Once I receive your return, I will ship the new item(s) out to you.
Once an order is placed, I can not accept a cancellation. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
And I am always available to discuss anything! Remember, I want you to be happy with your purchase!

I am the owner of DianaHDesigns/Artful Handmade Jewelry. I design and create every piece I sell myself, from my home studio in Florida.
Jewelry designing to me is exciting, multi-faceted and ever-evolving! Being able to manipulate a flat piece of sheet metal into a dimensional, wearable piece of art has always been, and continues to be, very gratifying to me. Predominantly a metalsmith and enamelist, I do often incorporate leather, beading and wire work into my designs. I am inspired in particular by architecture and the galaxy and that is reflected in my work as they tend to be contemporary designs which are either architectural or “out of this world” in design.
I tend to design and create a "collection" and then move on to whatever is inspiring me next. I like to keep my work new and exciting and there are only a handful of items I make repeatedly, everything else is one-of-a-kind. Designs from different collections can easily be worn together, however, and my customers can add on to their selections over the years as the look is cohesive.
I enjoy being able to offer a wide variety of price points so regardless if you are looking for a great pair of earrings at $25 made with base metals or a great pair of earrings, a cuff or a pendant…or maybe all three….using precious metals to include 24k gold, I’ve got your covered! If you like my design aesthetic, there will be something in your price range. I do a limited amount of custom orders as well and would be happy to talk to you if that would be of interest!
I happily work from my home studio in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and make every piece by hand, by myself.
