SOLD!! Handmade geometric bold polka dot statement earrings are ultra modern with boho flair! Copper and sterling silver play together beautifully! One-of-a-kind, these earrings were created with a variety of processes! Starting with a piece of bare copper sheet metal, I textured it by rolling it through a rolling mill alongside a piece of paper. The paper is one that I have cut out in a geometric polka dot design that is uniquely mine. Two attractive geometric "polygon" shapes, somewhat triangular in shape, were cut from this piece of textured copper.
Numerous sterling silver circles were cut out in various sizes and soldered on to create an additional layer of polka dots against the already polka dot textured background! Next, a yummy deep bronze patina was added, and then the same patina was removed in certain areas to reveal what ultimately becomes a three tone copper, silver and bronze polka dot pattern!
To these lovely geometric shapes I have added sterling silver domed discs at the top.
These are cut from sterling silver sheet metal, hammered for a lovely texture and then domed. The geometric somewhat triangular polygons dangle gracefully from these domed discs and have great movement.
Sterling silver ear wires are naturally hypo-allergenic and pretty with their copper accent ball detail.
These earrings are entirely made by hand by me in my studio. The earrings measure 3 1/2" from top to bottom.
This is a one-of-a-kind pair. You will love wearing them...and won't ever see them on anyone else!
These earrings make a statement but yet are very lightweight....so much fun and easy to wear! Please notice the coordinating cuff bracelet as shown in the photo. The cuff as well as several other pair of coordinating earrings are part of this collection and available in separate listings!

It is just me working in my studio, but my commitment is to make your order and ship it within 1 business day (Monday - Friday) of receiving the order.
I ship from Florida, and time in transit will vary depending upon where in the US you are located. I ship USPS with tracking info, which gets to most places within 3 - 5 business days. If you would like them faster I can ship them via USPS Priority Mail. Please choose that option at check-out.

I want you to be happy with your purchase. Each piece is handmade by me in my home studio in Sarasota, Florida. I am not able to offer refunds on custom orders or anything made to your specifications. I will, however, exchange items bought from my shop for other in stock items.
If you need to exchange your purchase, please just contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery. For Holiday purchases made between November 1st and December 20th, please contact me by January 10th and ship items back by January 15th. Once I receive your return, I will ship the new item(s) out to you.
Once an order is placed, I can not accept a cancellation. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

I am the owner of DianaHDesigns/Artful Handmade Jewelry. I design and create every piece I sell myself, from my home studio in Florida.
Jewelry designing to me is exciting, multi-faceted and ever-evolving! Being able to manipulate a flat piece of sheet metal into a dimensional, wearable piece of art has always been, and continues to be, very gratifying to me. Predominantly a metalsmith and enamelist, I do often incorporate leather, beading and wire work into my designs. I am inspired in particular by architecture and the galaxy and that is reflected in my work as they tend to be contemporary designs which are either architectural or “out of this world” in design.
I tend to design and create a "collection" and then move on to whatever is inspiring me next. I like to keep my work new and exciting and there are only a handful of items I make repeatedly, everything else is one-of-a-kind. Designs from different collections can easily be worn together, however, and my customers can add on to their selections over the years as the look is cohesive.
I enjoy being able to offer a wide variety of price points so regardless if you are looking for a great pair of earrings at $25 made with base metals or a great pair of earrings, a cuff or a pendant…or maybe all three….using precious metals to include 24k gold, I’ve got your covered! If you like my design aesthetic, there will be something in your price range. I do a limited amount of custom orders as well and would be happy to talk to you if that would be of interest!
