As an artist I seek to explore different emotions through observation, imagination, color and design.
My focus is Plein Air landscapes done in an impressionist style. I utilize bold colors and varied textures. This combination helps set a very specific tone for the viewer. Although not limited to, I tend to focus on Bay Area landscapes, which brings the beauty of California indoors.
Related to this, I have a strong connection to wildlife, farm animals and their surroundings. I strive to capture their emotions with my brushwork. Of late I have added still life to my portfolio.
