These sterling silver earrings are hand pierced (jewelry term for sawn out using an itty bitty jeweler's saw) from 20 gauge sheet metal. They are based on the markings and veins of actual butterfly wings, a zebra butterfly in this case. They measure a little over 2" including the ear wires. They are easy to wear and don't feel too heavy on the ears. These are THE piece of butterfly jewelry you don't own yet.
