Inspired by a desire to express the beauty of the natural world, I strive to capture the atmospheric sensations of landscapes in alluring abstract works of art.
It enjoy combining the bold colours of acrylic painting with the fragility of tissue paper to achieve a myriad textures, unexpected patterns, and varied translucent effects.
Now living in Ottawa, over the years, I acquired expertise in many different artistic mediums which have all contributed to my expansive visual vocabulary.
The textures, bold colours, light and transparency continue to fascinate me. My abstract landscapes have been seen in numerous solo and juried group exhibitions in Canada, Europe and the U.S. My paintings can be found in many private and public collections throughout the world including the Las Vegas Museum of Contemporary art.
Among the many accolades I is the Best of Show in an exhibition held in Ferrarra, Italy. I also won a second place during the Naples Prize for Contemporary Art 2013 organized by the Galleria Monteoliveto, Naples.
I have been featured in Studio Visit Magazine, among other publications. I am a member of several associations in Canada.
