The majestic Blue Hydrangeas hold court in my garden all summer long, and the grouping of those beauties seem to dance and sway with the wind, inspiration for "Blue Garden" glass bowl.
I have hand-gilded this glass bowl in 18-Karat lemon yellow gold leaf, and painted an abstract garden of sorts on the back side of the glass. The viewer looks through the glass to the reverse painting in gorgeous blue, greens, and whites representing nature. The bowl is sealed and making it a desirable home décor glass art piece. I recommend only a gentle wash by hand.
This can be a very special gift for any occasion.
The bowl measures 6.25" X 3.75".
My glass art pieces are all one-of-a-kind. Each is individually hand painted and gilded with 18 and 23-Karat gold leaf or silver leaf. This process is called verre églomisé, a term for cold painting and gilding on the back of glass.

About my Technique on Glass and Stone -
As an artist and gilder, I employ Verre Eglomisé technique, which is the art of painting and gilding precious metal leaf on the reverse side of the glass. Designs are engraved into the gold or silver leaf and then combined with glass and enamel paints on the back side of my glass bowls, table tops, and décor pieces. I also am gilding stone with gold leaf for my unique and elegant jewelry designs, and have custom commissions for special occasions such as concerts, weddings, anniversaries, and holiday gifts.
