This design features hummingbirds, poppies, and morning glory flowers in shades of ultramarine and cerulean blue and purple, accented by green leaves, on a white background. Single sided digital printing preserves all the nuances and fine details of my original paintings. The color quality is nearly equal on both sides due to the highly saturated color printing and the semi-sheer nature of the fabric. Edges are cleanly finished with a rolled hem. I made this scarf design using digital scans of my original oil and watercolor paintings. I arranged these digital pieces into a repeating pattern. Next I created a layout for how the design would fit onto the scarf, and finally this layout was digitally printed onto silk. My scarves are flattering on wearers of all ages, adding a lift and sparkle of color. They serve as beautiful and stylish accents to any outfit and also make great gifts!
