Scalloped Edged plate. Food-safe. Made with an array of beautiful stringers then embedded with circles. This make this plate very unique. . It has been handmade by me. The piece is fired in my kiln to a smooth finish. To finish the process in the kiln, the glass is cooled very slowly—annealing phase. This process makes the glass stronger. The next process is to slump the disc into a mold. This plate is 6mm thick. This plate comes with a metal stand for displaying. NOTE: We do not recommend washing this piece in the dishwasher—due to cold/heat variations of the dishwasher. Please hand wash.
My sister, Sue Froebel, and I have been fusing for about 10 years. However, we don't fuse full time. We usually do about 4 Art Shows a year. We are learning new fusing techniques all of the time. We are both a BOI's--born on the island-Galveston.
