Jane Austen Shadowbox

This is a miniature likeness of a most well-loved writer of English novels, Jane Austen, and is a perfect reminder of her charming tales to hang in your home or office. She is an all original sculpture in paper clay, painted in acrylics, and dressed in pale blue silk. She wears a ruffled and ribboned bonnet, and holds a feather quill pen and writing page. She has tiny leather shoes. She sits in a felt- lined framed shadowbox, but may be removed and is articulated with flexible arms and legs. Frame measures10.25" X 8.5", and Jane is 9.5" standing. On wall work measures 13" x 8.5" x 4".
