Dance

Abstract painting of sunflowers on a stretched 30x40 inch canvas. Energetic drip paints and splatters of black, gray and orange acrylic and household mediums give life to this exhilarating sunflower painting which appear to move and dance upon the canvas. A variety of tools were used to create this piece, ranging from rags and brush work to palette knives and sticks - the latter used to drip and fling gray, white and black paint to resemble the structure of a field. The yellow sunflowers were created using a palette knife, resulting in rich texture and a 3D like appearance. Painting is currently framed (see alternate images) but can be sold with/without frame.
