Fire and Ice Opal Dragon Pendant - 18K Gold

Impressive 'Fire and Ice' Dragon is cast in 18K gold. I was inspired to design this one of a kind pendant around a Mexican fire opal and an Australian crystal boulder opal. I love the contrast between fiery orange and aquatic luminance of these intoxicating opals. The unusual shape of 'Fuego,' a 6.5 ct. Mexican Fire Opal with two lobes of sparkling iridescence is in striking contrast to the intense and varied blues of 'Bermuda,' a triangular slice of Australian crystal boulder opal. The dragon's tail slips nicely between the two lobes of 'Fuego' and secures 'Bermuda' without covering any of it's deep ocean magic. Fuego's weighs 6.5 carats and is 5/8" long with fiery pinpricks and a lovely streak of bright orange along one side. Delicious 'Bermuda' weighs 3.5 CT; is 5/8" long with an iridescent palette of shimmering blue and green. Get Lost! The overall dimensions of Fire and Ice Dragon pendant are 1.25" high x 1.1" across.
