Description
This is a "This Life is a Thump Ripe Melon" house to hang on your wall. Inspired by a Greg Brown song, "Rexroth's Daughter", this ceramic piece is constructed by rolling out some clay, stamping it with a design, and cutting out the back and strips for the side. The sides are then position on the back, and it is fired, glazed, then fired again. The plaque in front is stamped in clay, with a clay colored background, and that part is held above the back by a piece of glued wood. A sawtooth hanger is glued on the back for easy hanging. This ceramic piece measures 8.75" x 5.25" x 1.25".
