HERB ALPERT & THE TIJUANA BRASS 2-LP TOTE – This retro delight features the colorful, influential art of two great LPs by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Released in 1965 and, arguably, their most popular recording, “Whipped Cream and Other Delights,” is the band’s fourth album, a classic 60’s LP that features a cover that was considered racy for its time. The LP and cover were so popular that there were numerous take-offs by other artists of the period. The memorable songs were famously used on the TV show, “The Dating Game.” Selling over 6 million copies, the cover alone is a pop culture icon. We have added the Tijuana Brass’s “South of the Border,” along with lively period fabrics, to the opposite side of this truly nostalgic and effervescent tote. Extendable strap can be worn or cross-body.
