Sunflowers & Dahlias on Burgundy, 100% Silk Chiffon Scarf

100% silk chiffon scarf digitally printed with my exclusive textile design " Sunflowers & Dahlias on Burgundy". This design features the rich colors of burgundy, wine, red, and gold, as is well suited to summer, autumn, and winter seasons. This unique print features dahlias, sunflowers, and leaves. Scarf measures approximately 20" wide x 70" long. Single sided digital printing preserves all the nuances and fine details of my original paintings. The color quality is nearly equal on the reverse side due to the highly saturated color printing and the semi-sheer nature of the fabric. Edges are cleanly finished with a rolled hem. To create my scarves, I begin by hand-painting each individual element of the pattern. The paintings for this scarf were created with thick-textured oils. Then I digitally scan the individual paintings, and create a digital layout for a repeating pattern. Next I create a layout for how the design will fit onto the scarf, and finally this layout is digitally printed onto silk. My scarves are flattering on wearers of all ages, adding a lift and sparkle of color. They can serve as beautiful and stylish accents to any outfit and also make great gifts!
