A pleasingly symmetrical blond and black wood base curves elegantly to support a ceramic lamp. The lamp suspends, it's delicate arms resting in notches that hold it in place. This ceramic glaze is enlivened with streaks and blooms of browns, golds, and greens. It's one of my most popular surfaces. Black semi-gloss interior and side walls create crisp edges against the clear-coated wood front and back. The lighter hues of the ceramic lamp pops within the embrace of the dark interior walls. Because both glazes and wood vary somewhat, the piece you receive may not look exactly the same as the one pictured, but it will be very similar.
Trouble-free and easy to use, this lamp has a fiberglass wick that will never need trimming or replacing, and comes with a plastic squirt bottle that makes filling the lamp very easy- just lift the stopper and squirt oil into the top. Comes with an info card explaining hanging, adjusting the wick, and where to find the smokeless/odorless "Ultrapure" oil I recommend for indoor use.
These find there way on mantels, credenzas, table centerpieces- I've even seen them on window sills. Their strong presence also makes them excellent for ceremonial use. Can also be used outdoors with citronella oil or other light lamp oils. An old-world tech with a very contemporary look.
I hope you enjoy it and thanks for having a look!
