These Ribbon earrings pop in your ears and are held in a natural arch, leaving the ends of the earrings to cross in order to hold them in. They are a staple in Amelia Island, where the sunshine hits the slightly faceted and hammered wires. We love them basic but have fallen farther in love with them by adding sweet white Freshwater Pearls.
Each earring in this set of two measure approximately 1.5 inches in length and 1 inch in width.
Kimberly Hanna-Wallis is a Second-Generation gold and silversmith, trained in the UK Channel Islands and the US West Coast. She imparts her work with the traditional ways of metal fabrication, lost wax casting, bezel setting, and Keum Boo. With every piece created, she strives to achieve a balance between these precise methods and the imperfections of the organic world in which I find my inspiration - namely, the sea. Found objects such as seaglass are my focus, highlighted with precious gemstones.
