This fossilized megalodon shark tooth necklace is hand-forged and set in sterling silver. These genuine teeth are found in the Southeastern USA (primarily from South Carolina down to Florida), and is found by Blackwater Scuba Diving which is diving down in the coastal deltas in water with very low visibility.
You will only be the third human to ever hold this tooth. Each piece is roughly 1.5-2 inches long, which marine biologists tell us that each inch long correlates to a 10-foot length of the extinct shark!
We have an excellent selection of Great White or Mako Shark teeth to choose from - feel free to message me to choose your piece in advance, or upon ordering, I will send you a selection to choose from. Please note: the teeth pictured may be sold, but we have a brilliant selection and connections to find that exact tooth of your dreams.

ABOUT THE ART//
I create each and every piece in my little Florida studio. My recent work is characterized by the natural, organic perspective of found objects specifically of sea glass, which is formed while tumbling for decades in the oceans, seas, great lakes and rivers. I feel that my years of holistic observation and practice lend a certain simplicity to my work and I emphasise that no piece of sea glass is ever altered in any way, which allows each piece to speak to the wearer with its own conviction and purity.
I specialize in "Long Design" because it integrates high quality recycled or reused material with timeless design to produce a heirloom quality piece that ensures an extremely long lifetime. And contrary to modern production techniques, there is no planned obsolescence in my work and never will be. I strive to create beauty with a conscious; jewelry is a statement of a socially and environmentally responsible lifestyle.
A NOTE ON WEAR//
I have chosen high quality materials that make a piece of jewelry that can last a lifetime. While my pieces are made for those with adventurous spirit, please take care while wearing my pieces as sea glass and natural stones can be delicate. To prolong the life of your piece, I suggest you remove it while swimming, hiking, rock climbing, cliff jumping, skydiving or whatever other crazy and rigorous adventure you might find yourself on!

"The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith. Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach—waiting for a gift from the sea." Anne morrow Lindbergh
