5 Hand painted 3/4“ maple wood cubes painted with acrylic paints and finished with a protective coating of lacquer. The piece is interspersed with onyx and hemalite beads which capture the metallic elements of the contemporary color pallet. Worn mid length close to the neckline.

I attended Parsons School of Design and received my degree in Fine Arts in 1958.
In the late 70's I developed my present form of painting on maple wood and created a line of wearable art, Wood Images.
In 1975 I developed the form of painting on maple wood spheres. I found that working in the round presented new compositional challenges not found in the two dimensional art form. The spheres range in size from 4” diameter to 24” diameter.
