Vintage Pixie Kneehugger

This piece of art is made from a cigar box and is perfect to sit on a shelf. A seated vintage PIXIE looks out on a Christmas Wonderland! A heap of vintage mercury glass beads, a sisal tree, tinsels, 2 jingle bells, painted wood ornament, 2 plastic and aluminum light reflectors, lacquer holly leaves, actual Christmas stamps, spun cotton snowman in black top hat, pieces of German embossed metallic papers, and a scan of a 100-year-old Santa postcard. A row of dripping icicles hang down from the top of the box. Artist JoAnne Hunot has been designing and selling assemblage boxes created from vintage items for over 20 years at art shows in California. The last photo up above shows her studio.
