Migraine is a personal piece illustrating my own struggles during a very difficult pregnancy. In addition to waves of nausea and vomiting, I endured splitting headaches that felt as if my head was about to crack open at any given moment. These painful headaches are immortalized in this piece as succulents burst through the cracks of the head, representative of the life that I bore in my womb.
