Multi Stone Sterling Silver and Copper Necklace

This necklace was made using natural stones like oval rainbow moonstone 15x19 mm, moss agate 18x27 mm, and red carnelian 13x18 mm. The stones on the pendant from top to bottom were set independently. The fist stone was set using fine silver scalloped bezel and copper backplate. Second stone is bezel set on sterling silver gallery wire and back plate, and third one on serrated fine silver bezel and sterling silver backplate. Each stone is connected to the next by a soldered silver jump ring allowing this design to move beautifully. The pendant has been oxidized to highlight and to contrast the beautiful colors on the stones and a layer of Renaissance Jeweler's wax is applied to preserve the patina.The necklace was made using flexible stringing wire along with amethyst, carnelian, moonstone, red jasper, and 5mm round sterling silver beads. The pendant is 3" long and the necklace 17". The closure is a 12mm sterling silver lobster clasp. *Color may vary slightly due to camera flash or individual computer monitors. Entirely handcrafted by me in my studio using traditional stone setting and silversmith techniques. All items are beautifully packed in a gift box and includes a care card on how best to look after your jewelry.
