Meander is my favourite series as it represents walking through the Toronto parks and ravines - usually beside running rivers like the Don and the Humber or in Caledon! But it is an expression of my imagination and many places put together - forming something completely new and dreamy! This painting is quite a wonder at home and adds a really positive vibe to your living or dining space!

Lisa Litowitz is an artist born in Toronto, Canada. She holds a degree from Ivey Business School, and was painting casually for over 25 years while working in the fashion industry. She has recently begun to paint full time and is now a “second-career” emerging artist. She is very excited to paint in her new studio across from the Artscape Wychwood Barns on Christie Street.

I have a new studio at 580 Christie St. which you are welcome to come visit (appointment only). I have an HBA from Ivey Business School, and was painting casually for over 25 years while working in the retail fashion industry.
My Artist Statement:
Out walking, nature’s compositions talk to me. On canvas, surprising colours jump off my palette.
I seek to create contemporary landscapes liberated from realism, showing the spectacular of nature. I express my connection to nature with confident, gestural brushwork and exuberant colour combinations. They convey not only what I SEE but HOW I feel. I hope my paintings will brighten up your home or office with positive and happy vibes!
