Ball Top - Birds of a Feather IV

Soft and silky, this mill dyed and blended top is a custom blend designed by The Fiberists. It is lovely to spin and can be manipulated during spinning to produce a muted bled of all of the colors or subtle barber poled striped singles! Its great for both beginners and advanced spinners. This beautiful curated mill dyed and custom blended variegated top contains 2 ounces each of Green Peafowl, Purple Honeycreeper (male), and Violet Backed Starling; it is a standard color by The Fiberists and is available for on demand ordering. Colors may vary from what they appear on your screen, dark tones may appear darker and blacker on your screen.  Every effort has been made to ensure colorfastness. Finished items created from this top are recommended hand wash only. Since the wool content in this top is not superwash it can not tolerate agitation while wet without felting. The Fiberists recommend all projects be hand washed in cold water to ensure longevity. 6 ounces of 40% Superfine Merino / 40% Rayon made from Bamboo / 13.33% Cultivated Silk / 6.67% Tussah Silk Top.
