Description
When I made this design, my sister commented on its pine-needle feeling. In homage to her and our childhood together, I named it after our Pine tree-filled hometown, Paradise, CA. This necklace has a ton of movement. Six tri-color guitar string bars are hung on bright or oxidized sterling silver flat cable chain with copper and 14K gold-fill bead accents. Adjustable from 16" to 18" around the neck. Entire pendant portion is 2.5" long.

Upcycled Guitar String Jewelry. My jewelry is a confluence of things I love and respect. My family was full of musicians however, I tended towards dance and visual art. I work part-time as an Architect and value proportion, geometry, and construction. The strings were initially inspired by my family's history in music but the recycling also speaks to my deep respect for the earth and desire to lead a more sustainable lifestyle.
