Description
Pottery: Bowls (6.5" or 8.5' diamter) - Each bowl is wheel thrown and carved free-hand. There is some variation from bowl to bowl. I used a white clay body and covered the surface with black underglage. The carved design, only glazed in clear glaze, highlights the contrast between the natural clay and the black surface layer. All of my functional pottery is safe for use with food as well as intended for daily use in microwave and dishwaher. It is NOT prepared for temperature shock. Please don't transfer it from cold into a preheated oven. It will crack.
