This mini painting will add a pop of colour and interest to any space. Collect a few and enjoy them together (one of the photos show them grouped together) or they are just as enchanting alone. Part of a series of studies on starfish I painted this piece while dreaming of days when I could once again go searching for these colourful creatures along the rocky shores of the Pacific Ocean.
Acrylic on canvas, ready to hang, sealed with a matte varnish, sides are painted in a neutral complimentary colour.

Cindy Y. Lam is a contemporary artist based in Toronto, Canada. She works predominantly with acrylics on canvas and also incorporates mixed media at times. Painting from memory and referencing personal travel photos her work strives to capture the spirit and energy of a moment in time. Creating art has brought joy, calm and daily reflection to her life, and she hopes her artwork inspire these same feelings to the viewer.
