Pewter sea life is incorporated with a repurposed vintage fabric printing block of shells, branch coral, and net which appears to have captured one of the attached fish. The embossed pewter on the top and sides of the piece are reminiscent of swirls of sea water. A sterling silver and turquoise snail adds a pop of color to this one-of-a-kind piece.

I enjoy seeing the potential in found objects and antique elements. Combining my metalsmithing skills with my artistic vision, I often transform these components into unique pieces of Jewish ritual objects. My work acknowledges the past, yet offers new and unusual forms which satisfy the demands of religious requirements. Through hand forming, piercing, soldering, and/or riveting pewter, brass & copper, I create my one-of-a-kind and limited edition ceremonial pieces.
My work has been featured in 10 books, The NY Times, The Boston Globe, calendars and greeting cards. I have received several awards, and was the 2018 "Handmade Business Magazine" runner up for their Entrepreneur of the Year Award. My ritual objects are in the collection of 3 Jewish Museums.
