I have been an artist for over twenty years, working primarily in two dimensional mediums. In 2017 I began to explore metal as a medium and since then, I have maintained my full time focus on jewelry making.
My work is inspired by forms found in the natural world; natural and organic forms as well as cosmic patterns. My aesthetic is contemporary, abstract and graphic, my pieces exhibit a strong sense of texture shape and motion. My techniques include fabrication, where finished pieces are started from sterling silver sheet or wire, the metal is textured, formed and most often finished with a patina. Many of my pieces feature colored gemstones or 24k gold accents.
