Black Sea Glass Necklace with Bail

We found this rare piece of black sea glass on our favorite beach in the Bahamas. This vintage piece is most likely from an old spirit bottle that dated back to the late 1700 or early 1800 hundreds. When held up to the light it has a slight green tint, but against your skin it is perfectly black. The sea glass measures 1 inch long and is finely drilled and has a sterling silver antique style bail securely attached to the top of the sea glass.
