This MAGNIFICENT corner-displayed grandmother clock is my 64th grand clock. Each clock is built from scratch (not an existing piece of furniture), and each one is completely unique in its shape & design: no two alike. This clock has a really different color palette than the others: I went with "sherbet" color tones instead of stronger primaries. This super-functional clock has a storage cabinet at the bottom, a five-sided drawer in the middle and another secret-ish cabinet space behind the clock face (all the easier to change the clockwork battery, my dear). Fun fact: the inside of the clock is upholstered with a special gold-threaded fabric that Lorri & I used to decorate for our India-themed wedding! The carved legs have a multi-color wash to accentuate the details. The more you look at this exquisite clock, the more luxurious details you discover, like the porcelain-enameled antique dial from "West Germany". Oh, and I painted the striped columns while they were spinning on my lathe. God is in the details, after all. This clock is built in two pieces, so it's easier for me to move it (and perhaps ship it, too)
