Polygram Jasper Uniquely Wrapped Copper Pendant

Polygram jasper is such a soothing gemstone with muted colors that just blend beautifully into one another. They go perfectly with the oxidized copper that has been wrapped around them with a technique specific to this artist. I use a thick base wire and three to four accent wires, coiling one to two of them with an even thinner gauge wire. Then, keeping them symmetrical, I wind and swirl them around the base wire and form it around the stone. The pendant includes a 16" chain that has a 2" extension so you'll have options as to how the pendant sits. The copper has been coated with an anti-tarnish sealant to preserve the color and protect your skin. Copper will deepen in color over time, which can be a beautiful effect. However a polishing pad will be included with your order so you'll be able to re-polish your copper in the future bringing out the piece's highlights if you choose.
