COVID Stages

The inspiration for this painting is based on the theme "how a child has felt in the face of the crisis with the COVID 19 pandemic". I started with blue, that gives a sense of peace and tranquility, then comes yellow, which is a color that can be taken as a reflection of insecurity and fear. Here the child feels trapped without understanding the magnitude of what is happening. I next turn to green that gives the child a bit of hope, but then there is the color red. That was the point where the pandemic reached highest levels of the crisis and where all kinds of businesses and schools were closed. Serious repercussions were felt in many areas. Then comes a green splash of color. After a few more little hops yellow comes in and creates a little insecurity. In comes red which is the time we are in again, finally the child is seen escaping through the window without caring that the color red is in front of him (DANGER). He runs away because he can no longer bear the confinement and wants a bit of freedom in the face of a situation that he still does not understand.
