I was born with a need to create. I love the creative process and problem solving. My passion is to create a unique art form that reveals the seamless integration of the physical world with the human spirit. Today, I create 3-dimensional objects from transformed materials. My sculptures have grown into kinetically alive figures that tell their story of renewal and life's journeys. My ideas stem from the world around me, a blend of conscious and sub-conscious imagery. I love to discover the unexpected and to leave room for spontaneity. The sculptures incorporate wood carving, bronze casting, forged steel with patina finishes. All of the elements are joined together with other found objects. For me creativity reaches beyond technique. Creativity is my life; my way of perceiving the world and touching others with grace, inspiration and awakening.
