European Dagger THE SWORD: This standard European style sword is inspired by those that were used in the Dark Ages through the Renaissance. A Hollow Earth sword has weight and balance that closely approximates a metal sword. They are ideal for full-contact sparring, staged combat, teaching, learning, and practicing swordsmanship. Each contour of our swords is individually shaped and sanded by the sword smith to create it’s unique form. This devotion to detail results in a superior grip, heft, and balance. THE WOOD: Our European Daggers are made from locally sourced solid American Hickory. Through many years of testing, we have found hickory to be the superior American hardwood for sparring weapons. THE SPECS: Overall Length: 16-22 in. Grip: 3.5-5 in. THE CARE: Each sword is treated with a special all natural, non-toxic, sword salve that is handcrafted in our shop. This protects the sword from weather and prolongs the life of your sword. Upon receiving your sword, it is a good idea to use a soft cloth to buff the wax into the wood. THE ACCESSORIES: Our Court Frogs are perfect for wearing your Dagger at the ready.
