This top hat is 100% black wool with a white satin lining. It is what they call "movie quality." It is very stiff and durable. I have added bug-eye goggles in irradescent green mirror-finish, a "tribal" woven hat band, bright feathers, watch parts, and a "poison" bottle dangling on top. It is size large.

As artists we are drawn to Steampunk because of its basis on an appreciation for reclaiming something old and making it new again, for cherishing the long-lasting and well-made. It revels in a sense of history, of having been somewhere. Steampunk wears its history on the outside, and we share that.
